Inspired by her recent residency at the Sidney Nolan Trust in Wales, Konstantina began to experiment with natural pigments, creating them as watercolours, as opposed to her usual method of making them into acrylic paints. From here, she fell in love with the medium, as has since begun a small series using these natural pigment watercolours, influenced by the sea snails and weavings from her ancestral home, Gadigal Country.
