Following the success of their Mitchelton venture, Adam Knight and Gerry Ryan OAM established the Hubert Gallery of Art in 2022. Located at Hubert Estate, formerly St Huberts Winery in the heart of the Yarra Valley, the gallery offers a refined and welcoming space for locals and visitors to engage with and celebrate the richness of Indigenous art, deeply rooted in Australia’s cultural heritage.
The gallery showcases a thoughtfully curated collection of exceptional works from a number of Indigenous art communities across Australia. This diverse and vibrant collection preserves and honours the voices, traditions, and artistic achievements of First Nations artists—past and present—ensuring their stories are shared with current and future generations.
Situated on Wurundjeri Country, the Hubert Gallery of Art respectfully acknowledges the Wurundjeri people as the Traditional Custodians of the land. We honour their ancestors and descendants, who have cared for this Country for countless generations, and who continue to uphold cultural practices, ceremonies of celebration, initiation, and renewal to this day.
